Dear CODEPINKer,

Welcome to the holiday season! In the frenzy of December, it can be easy to overlook what is happening in the rest of the world. Let us not forget that Peace on Earth includes Iraq and Iran.

Last month, we asked you to Speak Up for Peace; this month, you can continue to use your voice when you pledge to have a peaceful holiday season. Sign this month's pledge, and each week you will choose a new creative action from our list of "10 Ways to Have a Peaceful Holiday Season"--a list that includes everything from crafting a bloody handprint wreath to passing out "Don't Bomb Iran" flyers at screenings of the film Persepolis! Choose the activities that would be most meaningful for you and your loved ones, and see how peace can transform your holiday experience.

When we come together as a community by having peace-themed holiday house parties, caroling our peace songs, highlighting the dangers of giving war toys to our children, conversing with others about the perils of war with Iran, and participating in other thoughtful holiday activities, we can inspire others to do the same.

After you sign the pledge, you'll receive an email with your personalized webpage sign-up form. Forward this link to your friends and invite them to take part, as well. The person who inspires the most pledges at the end of the month wins a free trip to join CODEPINK in action in DC!

Thank you for being part of this month's pledge. Together we can create a peaceful, joyful holiday season.

With peace and love,
Dana, Desiree, Farida, Gael, Gayle, Ileana, Jodie, Medea, Nancy, Rae, and Samantha

P.S.We must remember that Peace on Earth includes Pakistan, as well. Our own Medea Benjamin and CODEPINK LA's stalwart Tighe Berry are currently in Pakistan as part of a delegation to support the rule of law. Click here to sign our petition to call upon the United States, the United Kingdom, and all other governments to suspend financial assistance to the Government of Pakistan until it lifts the emergency laws, frees civil society activists in jail and under house arrest, restores judicial independence, ends restrictions on the media, and restores the 1973 constitution-followed by elections under the auspices of an independent election commission. For more information, to read Medea's blogs and YouTube videos from Pakistan, and to support future delegations, click here.

P.P.S. Gift pink peace this holiday season. Visit our CODEPINK store for a great selection of gift baskets, t-shirts, yoga pants, peace panties, water bottles, books, and more--something pink for everyone on your list!
