For years we have been working to prevent war on Iran and lift the crippling sanctions that are hurting the Iranian people. Now that our government is finally pursuing negotiations, we're dismayed that Senator Menendez, Chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, wants to tighten the sanctions even more. Will you join us and tell him to stop undermining the diplomatic process with Iran?

The sanctions have already had a devastating impact on the lives of ordinary Iranians, who have faced shortages of medicines, food, and many basic necessities. With the election of the new moderate Iranian president, this is precisely the time to show our determination to be friends with the Iranian people and to lift the sanctions.
