Drone Victims Deserve Compensation!

CODEPINK

October 23, 2013

Dear CODEPINKer,

Groundbreaking reports on US drone strikes by Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch and the United Nations have renewed focus on the horror of remote-controlled warfare. Today, Medea Benjamin discovered there is already a $10 million yearly fund Congress has allocated for Pakistani drone victims, but shockingly, none of this money has actually reached them.

Sign this petition to Chairwoman of the Senate Appropriations Committee, Senator Mikulski, and tell her that civilian drone victims in both Yemen and Pakistan deserve compensation!

During CODEPINK's recent visit to Yemen, we met with drone strike victims and heard their heartbreaking stories. Listen to the story of the tragic death of Mohamed al-Qawli's brother Ali, and help us get financial support for Ali's bereaved wife and children.

Want to do more to stop the US drone wars and set up a compensation fund for victims? Register now for the 2013 CODEPINK Drone Summit in Washington DC, November 15-17. Can't make it? Please consider making a donation so that we can continue to highlight the voices of those most affected by drones.
