Dear CODEPINKer,

Thank you for signing up to participate in a viewing party of the Women, War & Peace series! Have you found others to share the experience with? It's not something you'll want to watch alone. Click here for discussion questions for your viewing party.

And join us on Twitter and Facebook tonight to participate in the national conversation around this series.

Our efforts to promote this documentary series are part of a larger effort to gather women to ensure women have seats at the peace-making table and to end rape and gender violence in war.

CODEPINK is joining over 400 global women's organizations as part of the Billion Women Rising Campaign, which will be coordinated by the Nobel Women's Peace Initiative.

The UN Secretary General estimates one out of three women will experience rape or some other violence in their lifetime. That is one billion women. Imagine one billion women rising to end violence! And a billion men helping us. Please send an email if you want to get more involved in the campaign.

This first episode of Women, War & Peace says it all. Don't watch it alone. Gather your friends in conversation. Let's stand on the shoulders of Occupy Together and join a mass movement of women who too are frustrated by war and greed and the prices they pay as women. Let the next global rising be that of women.

Onward towards a billion women rising,
C.J. Minster, CODEPINK organizer
