Dear CODEPINKer,

It's time to occupy our city squares, not Afghanistan, Iraq, or any other country! Thursday marks the tenth anniversary of the Afghanistan War. It's already the longest war in U.S. history and we're getting in the streets to demand an end to war, a focus on human needs, not corporate greed. Show your support for occupations here at home.

From New York City to Boston to DC to Chicago to Austin to Los Angeles and all points in between, we are part of Occupy Together.

Read CODEPINK NYC Coordinator Melanie Butler's latest report from Occupy Wall Street, "The 99% Are Not 90% Men."

Join Medea, Jodie & the CODEPINK Team at Occupy DC, the encampment at Freedom Plaza near K Street starting this Thursday.

Affirm your solidarity to occupy city squares, not Afghanistan and Iraq.

Sign up to attend or watch a viewing party of Women, War, and Peace, the five-part series on PBS premiering next Tuesday, October 11.

As Afghan Parliamentarian Malalai Joya reminds us, the Afghan war has propped up drug lords and war lords, denying democracy and security to the Afghan people. The only way for us to support women's rights in Afghanistan is to immediately withdraw all U.S. troops and contractors, and encourage conflict resolution that disarms the warlords and makes them accountable for their war crimes.

Onwards toward ending the wars and creating jobs,
Alli, C.J., Farida, Gayle, Heather, Janet, Jodie, Kristen, Lisa, Nancy, Medea, Melanie, Rae, Rosie, Sanaa, Sharon, and Tighe
