Pink Slip John Brennan!

Dear Activist,

“Nothing could be further from the truth.”

That’s what CIA Director John Brennan said when the CIA was accused of spying on Congressional computers used to compile reports on the agency’s torture program. Last week, we found out those allegations were true—the CIA did in fact violate the Constitution by hacking into Senate Intelligence Committee computers to evade accountability for its torture crimes.

This is an outrage. Take action now: Tell Senator Feinstein, Chairwoman of the Senate Intelligence Committee, to “pink slipJohn Brennan!

While President Obama has reiterated his support for Brennan, some members of Congress, including Senator Udall (D-CO), have called for his resignation. Senator Feinstein should join with Senator Udall, who said, "This grave misconduct not only is illegal, but it violates the U.S. Constitution’s requirement of separation of powers. These offenses, along with other errors in judgment by some at the CIA, demonstrate a tremendous failure of leadership, and there must be consequences."

Brennan is also trying to hide the horrible CIA record of torture by cutting out the most damning parts of the Senate Intelligence Committee’s Torture Report before making it public.

Spying. Killing. Lying. This is the legacy of John Brennan, a man complicit in Bush-era torture policies and the grand master of the covert killer drone program under President Obama. Under Brennan, the CIA’s killing and spying has gotten out of control. And now add the crime of lying to the American public. Brennan should not be allowed to keep violating the law with impunity!

Join us in calling on Senator Feinstein to give John Brennan a pink slip. We need government officials who uphold our democratic values--and that is NOT John Brennan
