Support the Palestinian struggle for freedom

October 13, 2014

Dear Activist,

A Palestinian solidarity activist and artist named Katie Miranda has organized and recorded an inspiring series of conversations with prominent leaders, activists and scholars such Haneen Zoabi, Hatem Bazian, Ahmed Kathrada, Diana Buttu, Remi Kanazi and 15 others who are at the forefront of the Palestinian struggle for freedom. I have been invited to participate in this “telesummit” to talk about CODEPINK’s work as part of the global boycott, divestment and sanctions (BDS) movement. The conversation will focus on the Stolen Beauty Ahava boycott, the Stop SodaStream boycott, and our soon-to-be launched Stop Re/Max campaign, targeting the Israeli franchisee of this international real estate company that sells home in illegal West Bank settlements.

Huge shifts are happening in the struggle for Palestinian self-determination. Rather than bemoaning Israel’s violations of international law and ongoing abuse of Palestinians and the U.S. government’s unconscionable funding and enabling of these abuses, people are taking meaningful action to hold Israel to account. Sign up to join the Palestine Telesummit so you can hear from these exciting activists and leaders and learn how to take effective action on behalf of dignity, equality and justice.

Please share this email with friends you think might want to participate. As Grace Paley put it, “The only recognizable feature of hope is action.” Join the movement for Palestinian self-determination and freedom.

Thanks for your support. With best regards,

Nancy K

P.S. We’ll be sending an update soon about recent boycott victories and our new Stop Re/Max campaign!
