John Kirikou's Family and Friends

June 15, 2014

Dear Activist,

Happy Father's Day!

We are excited to announce that we reached our goal of $30,000 to give to CIA whistleblower John Kiriakou's family to save their home!

Thank you for being so generous, supportive and caring. Together we have been able to extend real, tangible support to John Kiriakou, who blew the whistle on CIA torture. While he pays the price we have been able to support him, even as the US government has punished him for being a whistleblower.

While the years John will have lost in jail can never be returned to him, helping to save his family’s home during this time of hardship has meant so much to him and his family. John's wife Heather wrote to us this morning, saying:

"Our family is so grateful for all you and your organization has done for us. There really are not words to capture our gratitude. You are helping us to stay strong and optimistic about our future. I have to also say that it was a big gift to have the kids all sleep in this morning. They danced their hearts out last night!"

Thanks for meeting John’s sacrifice with your own generosity. If you haven't sent John a personal note yet, now is the perfect time to do so.
