The call to join us....

CODEPINK is heading to the DNC in Charlotte, NC September 2-6 to Bust Up Big Banks! Will you join us?

Charlotte is known as “Wall Street South”; it hosts the world headquarters of Bank of America, as well as the East Coast headquarters of Wells Fargo, making it the second largest concentration of finance capital in the US after NYC. We'll highlight how our political parties listen more to banks and corporations than the American people. Let's tell the Democratic Party that DNC should stand for Don't Neglect Communities!

Join us Sunday, September 2, for the mass Occupy Wall Street South rally and march, and stay for several days of powerful and creative actions that give voice to the 99% and protest the corporate takeover of our democracy.

Our presence at the DNC builds on the vital work CODEPINK has already done to Bust Up Big Banks. In March, we occupied Bank of America branches all over the country to honor International Women's Day, while two CODEPINK activists busted Bank of America CEO Brian Moynihan on stage in NYC; in May, we traveled to Charlotte to protest the BofA's shareholders' meeting. Won't you join us to make this our most powerful Bank Bust Up, ever?

Of course we'll be carrying the full gamut of CODEPINK concerns to the DNC, as well, from Obama's use of drones to ending and preventing war. Help us bring the pink and make Democrats think!
