Polly Miller

Polly began her activism in Rochester, NY where she was a teacher in a program for "at risk" students. She was a founding member and facilitator of the group, Rochester Against War. The group had great success in the areas of Counter Recruitment and de-militarizing schools. That success lead her to meet activists from all over the country. Her work took her back and forth from Rochester to Washington, DC. In 2007, Polly left teaching and moved to Washington, DC. She now lives in Northern Italy, but still thinks of DC as home. Polly has worked with many groups in DC, but truly finds her home with Code Pink.
