Codepink Portland joined in the One Billion Rising global action that took place on Valentine's Day. We danced and marched with 50 women, young and old, and a few men. At the University of Southern Maine, Pat Taub, Pink Portland Coordinator spoke of the need to connect violence against women to our increasingly militaristic society, calling on participants to join the anti-war actions of Codepink and other peace groups. | |
