CODEPINK Rocks the 2010 US Social Forum!

The 2010 US Social Forum took place June 22-26 in downtown Detroit. The USSF brought together social movements from across the United States and globally with nearly 1,500 organizations represented, over 1,000 workshops, nearly 50 People's Movement Assemblies, and thousands of people converging in Detroit by car, plane, train, bus, and bicycle!

Thanks to all who joined the CODEPINK delegation to build bridges with new allies and learn about creating a broad movement for peace and justice! Thanks to CODEPINK visionary artist Tighe Barry, Tyree and Jenenne Guyton at the Heidelberg Project and John George at Motor City Blight Busters!

Highlights of the event included our Hummer Burial created an especially powerful art installation! Check out the vidoes, news articles, blogs and photos below!
