Program and Schedule

Unburden, inspire and renew your heart at the Crossings Retreat Center in Austin, Texas, August 24-27, 2006!

A diverse offering of workshops and break-out sessions will plumb our fear and pleasure, our anger and joy in order to fuel our quest for change. After four rich, challenging, and celebratory days, we will be able to return to our own communities fully energized, ready to speak to power because we will have claimed our own beautiful power.

Take a much needed break after years of non-stop organizing and activism to sharpen your skills in the workshops, gather more inspiriation and courage from the presenters, empower your voice and your heart through movement and singing and renew your weary bones at the spa.

Each day will be full of offerings to improve or develop activists skills, to be more effective with your message, empower your voice, work with your fears, move your body and voice in new ways. Gather in deep conversation and exploration with women of all ages. Sessions will be structured and informal. Time for hikes, swimming and gathering with other women to learn, to share and to explore our effectiveness in our activism and balancing all the needs of our lives.

For the seasoned activist and the curious. Just to make sure you leave deeply cared for each person will receive a massage with their visit!
