CODEPINK went on a delegation to Iraq in 2003. The delegation consisted of ten extraordinary people who have loved ones serving in Iraq or loved ones who have died in the course of their service in Iraq. The group went Iraq to meet with and listen to Iraqis, the troops and US officials. They then traveled to currently to Washington DC for meetings with Congress, the administration, and the press. They also traveled to New York to meet with UN officials and be present at the United Nations on December 15, which was when the US government wass scheduled to propose its transition plan to the world community.
