is our first time meeting at the Union Square Sports Bar - it's bigger

& shoot nerf toys at the TV every time we hear BS. We have several
other DVD's we plan on showing. It's a bring a dish or drink type
event- Sloppy Joes provided by host. Several rooms with several TV's.
We are a small group of local activists that just started at our OUT OF
IRAQ event. There is plenty of room for more guests. Nerf guns &
opinions are invited.

Ames - Instead of letting your blood pressure boil at home watching the president's speech of deceit and fear, come watch the event with like-minded friends in the comfort of Legend's luxurious Legacy Room. There will be games and lively discussion. The staff of Legends American Grill will be happy to serve you food and drink. You might want to enjoy a dinner in the Legacy Room before or during the 7pm speech. The Legacy Room is just to the left as you exit the elevators on the 7th floor. It is the same location where Drinking Liberally meets on Fridays.

Hudson Valley - Citizens State of the Union-Impeach Bush Rally.
In coalition with seven Hudson Valley activist groups, CODEPINK Hudson Valley Contingent will hold a rally to coincide with the State of the Union speech and to call for the impeachment of George Bush.
The
rally, dubbed a Citizens State of the Union, will feature signs, music
and other colorful touches all geared toward expressing the reasons why
George Bush should be impeached. Take your pick: The Iraq war. Phony
intelligence. Contempt for civil liberties. Torture. Rendition.
Surveillance of anti-war groups. We ask participants to bring signs
that fit the theme!
A candlelight vigil will follow the rally
for those who wish to stay past 5 p.m. we are planning to watch the
speech afterward at a local restaurant & bar to be announced.
