OCCUPY FREEDOM PLAZA IN DC Stop the Machine! Create a New World! Millions of people around the world are rising up for freedom and justice, from the Arab Spring to the Chilean protests for education. This October on the 10th anniversary of the Afghanistan invasion, we're gathering in Freedom Plaza to denounce war and demand funding for housing, jobs, healthcare, and education.

CODEPINK will be there with our Make___Not War message. By sowing the seeds of community, together we can build a new world. Let's invest in real national security

We all have one thing in common: we will no longer tolerate the greed and corruption of the 1% whose hold on our politics is suffocating 99% of Americans and we are willing to put our bodies on the line to demand a better world for us and for future generations.
