WASHINGTON -- Today the U.S. Armed Forces is hosting its annual weapons bazaar for children on the Washington Mall, in "celebration" of mothers and children.

CODEPINK women, fresh from their 24-hour vigil in Lafayette Park, will join several other non-profit activist groups on the mall to protest the fair, on a day where parents and children should celebrate life and peace, not weapons and warfare.

About a dozen women, joined by members of other organizations, will carry their 150-foot banner created out of 6,000 knitted squares, all knitted by women around the world, that reads, "We will not raise our children to kill another mother's child." They will attempt onto some tanks and fence along the mall.
