If this March on Jan 27th is the biggest event please tout it as that, so people can support the big event, we do not have the time to get from all over the country to D.C. at the drop of a hat. Ideas! I think it is best to support a date once a year to meet and deliver a written message to the white house. Code pink should go so far as to put it in writing ,and have it hand delivered to the white house and GET MEDIA TO COVER THIS EVENT NATIONWIDE IS A MUST!!!! For example make it Sept. 5th or any set date where it is condusive to weather. This way more people can plan in advance to be in D.C. for a March/Protest. ALSO I would be willing to be arrested like the September 24th arrest in front of the White House, the civil disobedience arrest. |
