For more than five years Senator John McCain has been an outspoken advocate of the war and occupation of Iraq. McCain has consistently led the drumbeat for war in Iran. He continues unabashedly to use his position in the Senate and the presidential race to call for an open-ended occupation of Iraq, stir up fear to justify an attack on Iran, and chastise those who advocate diplomacy, all the while refusing to afford better benefits for the veterans of the conflicts he supports and instigates. With this campaign we hope to educate the public about his dangerous positions and pressure McCain to move in the direction of diplomacy and de-escalation instead of continued war and escalated international violence.
