We are a new local CODEPINK group that started shortly after the CODEPINK March to the White House on International Women's Day, March 8, 2006. On that day, a delegation of Iraqi women, along with at least 500 women and men, marched to the Iraqi Embassy and the White House to deliver the Women Say No To War Petition signed by over 2 million people throughout the world. Upon returning from this March, we resolved to start a local group in our area.

We are looking for members who want to join us in local, national, and international peace activities. If you would like to join the Western Massachusetts CODEPINK group, please send an e-mail to Priscilla Lynch at priscillalynch@earthlink.net and we will add you to our contact list. Please indicate if you have any particular interests or skills. Below are some of the activities we have completed, are working on or are goals for the future. We're sure you have some good ideas too. Please be in touch!

We are also working on local activities, including banners for highway overpasses, participating in "Bird Dog Hilary" activities when Senator Hillary Clinton is in an area nearby, and organizing meetings for Western Mass CODEPINKers.
