Come help us celebrate our 1-year anniversary of the Code Pink Hawai'i (Oahu). We are hosting the Peace Ribbon, moving memorial of lives lost in Iraq, as we pass the 3000 mark of American deaths in Iraq.

We need your help in the following three events for the Peace Ribbon Project:
1. Friday, January 5 First Friday in Chinatown 6:00-8:00 pm. Walking memorial with the Peace Ribbon through the streets of Chinatown. Wear Pink and meet at 6:00 at the Pacific Justice and Reconciliation Center, 19 Pauahi Street. We need people to walk with the ribbon and also to be at the information table that will be in front of Louis Pohl Gallery on Hotel Street.

2. Wednesday, January 10 Hawaii State Library 1:30 pm. Help set up the Peace Ribbon display in the lobby of the library at King and Punchbowl. Also, please bring friends to see the display through January 13.

3. MOST IMPORTANT EVENT: Monday, January 15 Dr. Martin Luther King Day Parade. Meet at 7:00 am at Magic Island, Ala Moana Park, and bring some friends who can help carry the 125 panels of the Peace Ribbon in the parade. PLEASE WEAR PINK! We also need a couple of people who do not want to walk to help us stake out a spot for the Peace Ribbon and the Code Pink information table in Kapiolani Park.
