Dear Supporter, 

Last year I traveled to Germany as a part of my world-wide speaking tour to share my book, Drone Warfare: Killing By Remote Control. The European anti-drone activists I met with were so motivated and inspiring. I thought that there had to be a way we could start coordinating actions -- globally. We put our heads together and decided to organize the first-ever Global Action Day Against the Use of Drones for Surveillance & Killing on October 4, 2014. This coincides with the week of action, startingOctober 4, by the Global Network Against Weapons in Space.

Already  people around the world are organizing anti-drone events in their communities: protests, vigils, teach-ins, kite flying - the sky is the limit. Please consider taking part in this historic event by organizing an event in your community. Get the word out by listing your event on our online calendar, and check it out what else is happening near you. 

For years CODEPINKers have been engaged in anti-drone activism, and we’re thrilled to be a part of the international effort to coordinate actions on October 4.
