Protests, Weddings, Indians and Cowboys!

April 23, 2014

Dear Activist,

There's lots of actions happening in DC, and we hope you will join us for these three!!

Protest Friday, April 25th, beginning at 2 pm in front of  the Chamber of Commerce at 1615 H St. NW. RSVP!

Earth Day was yesterday, but every day is the perfect time to act for the planet. The US Chamber of Commerce is guilty of putting corporate profits before people, peace, and the planet, and is doing everything it can to stop climate action. Now, the Chamber is trying to push through the Trans Pacific Partnership, a job-killing trade agreement! Join us to tell the Chamber that democracy, people and the planet should take priority over profits!

Protest the Keystone Pipeline Saturday, April 26th, beginning 11am at the National Mall between 9th and 12th streets. RSVP!

This week, people from indigenous communities and farmers who all live along the Keystone XL Pipeline path are in Washington DC. They have traveled across the country to present President Obama with a tipi representing the hope that he will reject the Keystone XL pipeline. Join us at their huge protest this weekend!

Join us on Sunday, May 4th at 1pm in front of the White House for a wedding simulation to protest killer drone strikes!

We've seen events across the country happening for April Days of Actions against drones–– let's keep the momentum going into May! We'll act out the horrors of what it is like when US drones strikes hit weddings in Pakistan in Yemen. We need actors for this powerful action! RSVP is required.

For climate action and an end to drone strikes,

Alli, Cayman, Kate, Medea, Sergei, and Tighe
