April 21, 2014 Dear Activist, Victory!! We're excited to tell you on the eve of Earth Day that the Earth Day Network has dropped their partnership with Sodastream! After CODEPINK, the US Campaign to End the Israeli Occupation and other groups mobilized last week to tell Earth Day Network to drop the Sodastream partnership, they pulled Sodastream's name from their website and Earth Day Network's logo has been removed from Sodastream's Secret Continent website! This is the second major scandal over Sodastream this year. After Scarlett Johansson, an Oxfam Ambassador, became a Global Brand Ambassador for Sodastream in January, Johansson was forced to step down from her position with Oxfam. With all this controversy, SodaStream
is certainly going to have difficulty finding reputable individuals and
groups to help whitewash and greenwash its ugly occupation
