Write an Article for a Newsletter

Many
of us belong to faith-based or community groups that publish newsletters.
These small publications are often read with great interest because
the readers and writers may know each other personally. To model your
own activism (including its difficulties) and to encourage others
who share your values to take action, a short (usually 300-600 words)
article about a specific action or challenge, such as a stay at the
Pink House in DC, or an encounter with local police over freedom of
assembly and speech issues. Make it relevant to issues of concern
to people in the community, and add a snappy title or a lively anecdote.
